Creating an application

This section will guide you through the process of creating an Application in the In Loco for Apps Dashboard. By the end of it, you will have a configured Application that is ready to be used on the In Loco for Apps SDK Setup.

To create an application, you'll need an In Loco for Apps account. You can be invited to our platform filling this form.

It is necessary to create an Application in the In Loco for Apps Dashboard for each of your mobile app platforms. An Application contains a unique identifier, the App Id, which is required to initialize the In Loco for Apps SDK. It also holds information such as third-party Cloud Messaging credentials.

To create a new Application, go to the Applications page and click New Application.

Fill out your Application name and pick the platform you are going to use.

Pick the correct platform

It's important that you pick the correct platform for the integration to work correctly.

You can finish the Application creation by selecting None at the Notification Provider field. If you are going to integrate Push Notifications on your app, we will return to this Application later in the Push Notifications section.

Accessing the Application ID

Your Application ID can be retrieved on the Application's page.

  1. Go to your Applications page.
  2. Select the Application you've just created.
  3. Copy the App ID field.

You have created an Application in the In Loco for Apps Dashboard and now have an Application ID. This identifier will be used on the next step: integrating the In Loco for Apps SDK.
